The wastewater from hospitals and nursing homes provides enormous challenges. These usually come from the use of many drugs and disinfectants. This is of course a major task for biological wastewater treatment plants. We at ATB are familiar with such tasks and have wastewater treatment plants that function as a combination of the SBR process and close to nature wetlands as reliable secondary treatment.
