Entrepreneur of the Year 2006

Markus Baumann has now been nominated for the third time for the final round of the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2006".

Porta Westfalica/Frankfurt a.M., September 2006 - once again this year Markus Baumann is honoured for his entrepreneurial excellence with the award "Finalist Entrepreneur of the Year 2006".
As the founder and managing director of ATB Umwelttechnologien GmbH, he is in the final round among around 350 candidates nominated for the coveted title of "Entrepreneur of the Year". Of these, almost 100 candidates reached the final, including Markus Baumann with ATB Umwelttechnologien GmbH. Above all, he convinced the jury for the 3rd time with his sustainable growth and innovations. With its AQUAmax small wastewater treatment system, the company is now one of Europe's leading manufacturers in the wastewater treatment segment.

An independent panel of top-class experts now selects the "Entrepreneurs of the Year" from among the best in the five categories Industry, Trade, Services, Information Technology and Start-up.
On 21 September, the award winners will be announced in the Alte Oper Frankfurt during a festive gala in front of 900 invited guests from business, politics and culture. A business award celebrates its birthday: This year, the auditing and consulting firm Ernst & Young is honoring the outstanding economic achievements of entrepreneurs for the tenth time.
