Visiting tomorrow's partners

We were delighted to welcome a high-ranking delegation from Egypt to ATB recently. The focus was on exchanging ideas about joint cooperation opportunities in the field of wastewater treatment.

The delegation consisted of important representatives of the Egyptian water industry, including Prof. Dr. Eng. Abdelkawi Khalifa, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Rifaat Abdel Wahaab, internationally recognised expert in water and wastewater management at the National Research Centre in Egypt, Dr. Eng. Amr Seoudy, Chairman of the International Water Consultants Conference (IWCC), Mohamed Zakaria Saadallah Hamdalla, deputy editor-in-chief of one of Egyptian's leading daily newspapers and also head of the specialised department for water and the environment and Dr. Peter Riad, industry expert for the water and wastewater industry from the Africa Business Network of the German Federal Ministry of Economics, based at the AHK in Cairo. In addition, Eng. Khaldoun Khashman, Secretary General of the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) from Jordan as well as representatives of the egyptian companies Arab Contractors and ITOS.

We would like to thank all members of the delegation for their visit and also Frank Hoffmann and Mohamed Abouelmagd from expotec for the excellent organisation. We are already looking forward to the next steps in our partnership.
